1.Who is responsible for your data

Mr Web is a trading name of Everything Custom-built Limited, an Irish company (registration number 707011, VAT number IE3987367JH) with its registered office at 77 Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2, D02 XE80, Ireland. Everything Custom-built Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and when we provide our services to you.

2.What we collect

• Email sign-ups: your email address when you download the free 110-point audit or sign up for deal alerts, plus which form you used and how often you asked to hear from us.
• Quote requests: your name, email, phone number, business name, website, the service and plan you were looking at, and anything you tell us about your business.
• Client details: if you become a client, your billing details, the information and materials you give us so we can deliver your service, and access details for the accounts we work on.
• Vendor submissions: your name, work email, company name, product details and anything else you tell us when you submit a deal or partnership enquiry.
• Contact messages: whatever you send us when you get in touch.
• Website usage: standard technical and analytics data about how the site is used, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

We never see or store your full card number. Card payments for our services are processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy. Purchases made through a deal happen on the vendor’s own website.

3.Why we use it

• To send what you asked for: the free audit and the deal alerts you signed up for. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To answer quote requests and deliver services: to prepare your quote, carry out the work you order, invoice you and keep you updated. The legal basis is taking steps towards, and performing, a contract with you.
• To handle vendor submissions and reply to messages. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
• To run and improve the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records.

4.Affiliate links and tracking

When you click an affiliate link on this website, you go to the vendor’s website or an affiliate network that works for the vendor. That company may set its own cookies to record that you came from Mr Web, so that a commission can be paid if you buy.

We do not pass your email address or other personal details to vendors when you click. The tracking is done by the vendor or network under its own privacy policy, and we receive reports of clicks and sales, not information that identifies you.

5.Emails and unsubscribing

We only email you deals and updates if you signed up for them. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also change how often you hear from us. When you unsubscribe, we stop sending you deal emails straight away. Emails about a quote you requested or a service you ordered are not deal emails and continue while that quote or service is active.

6.Who we share it with

We only share personal data where running this website or delivering your service requires it:

• our website hosting, email delivery and analytics providers;
• Stripe, to take payments for our services, and our accounting software, to keep financial records;
• the specialist delivery partners and platforms involved in your specific service, who work under our direction and receive only what they need to do the work.

Each processes data on our instructions and only for that purpose. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to anyone, and we do not give subscriber lists to vendors.

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts and channel statistics from YouTube. To do this, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU’s standard contractual clauses.

7.How long we keep it

• Subscribers: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only what is needed to make sure we do not email you again.
• Quote requests that do not go ahead: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Client details: while your service runs and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Vendor submissions and messages: as long as needed to deal with them and any partnership that follows, then deleted.

8.Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, withdraw consent, and take your data elsewhere. Contact us and we will act on it. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie, though we would appreciate the chance to sort things out first.

9.Your customers’ data

If we build forms, CRM systems or AI chat and call tools for your business, the data your customers enter belongs to you. You are the data controller for it and we act as your data processor, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.

10.Cookies

This website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and analytics to understand how it is used. Vendors and affiliate networks may set their own cookies when you click a deal, as explained above. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings.

11.Children

This website is intended for adults running or building websites and online businesses. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
